Bangkok will experience the second annual Wine Harvest Dinner and Auction, the only one of its kind, being held this year on the evening of Saturday, October 16, 2010 and featuring an outstanding menu created by some of Bangkok’s best and most innovative chefs. All proceeds from the dinner and auction will go to benefit the operations of SCAD Foundation (formerly Soi Dog Rescue).
The Wine Harvest Dinner will take place at Maison Chin, on Soi Sala Daeng. The diverse and highly talented array of chefs include Ken Hom and Pop Lertnibuna of Maison Chin, Gianni Favro of Gianni Ristorante, Bo Songvisava and Dylan Jones of Bo.lan, Tim Butler, and Tommy Rungnoppakunsi of Masatomi Patisserie. The wines for the evening will include very special selections from Bangkok Beer and Beverages, and from Siam Winery.
While the fabulous food and wines will be the center of the evening, the auction will also be a major highlight, with a special selection of items on offer, including destinations, weekend retreats, works of art, fine wines and wonderful dining choices. The evening will continue with dancing until late after the dinner and the auction.
Tickets for the evening, which are limited, cost 3,400THB.
